While Dr. Malcom treats a variety of patients, he also specializes in the treatment of vein disease in women, including those with pregnancy and post-pregnancy needing sclerotherapy or other vein surgery. He is one of the lead trainers, ensuring all vein doctors are able to carry out care at a high level but affordable price.
Dr. Malcom was born and raised in Idaho Falls where he graduated from Skyline High School.
Dr. Chris Malcom completed his fellowship in Body MR and Musculoskeletal Imaging at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. He studied Exercise Science at Brigham Young University and completed medical school at Western University of Health Sciences. His radiology residency training was performed at the University of Kansas where he was chief resident.
Following medical school, he returned to Idaho and completed a 1 year internship at the Boise VA Medical Center. Dr. Malcom and his wife Trini are busy raising four boys, and enjoy the beautiful Idaho Outdoors.
